Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Software Engineer at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of arenaflex structures. Key Responsibilities

  • Write and test product or system improvement code, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and reliability
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide among different technologies and approaches
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices, such as style guidelines, code checking, accuracy, testability, and performance
  • Contribute to current documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/application updates and user feedback
  • Triage product or system problems and debug/tune/resolve by reading the sources of problems and the effect on hardware, network, or service operations and quality

Minimal Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent realistic experience in a related field, such as computer science or software engineering
  • 3 years of experience with software development in languages such as C++, and with data structures/algorithms
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
  • 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technology, storage, or hardware architecture

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership function, such as leading a team of engineers or mentoring junior engineers
  • Experience developing accessible technologies, such as technologies that are usable by people with disabilities

Skills and Competencies

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in software engineering, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, you should be passionate about developing innovative solutions and be willing to take on new challenges and learn new technologies.

  • Programming languages, such as C++, Java, or Python
  • Data structures and algorithms, such as arrays, linked lists, stacks, and queues
