Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician and Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, interacting with customers, and developing strong patient relationships. You will also be responsible for using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and perform other duties as assigned. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions
  • Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and perform other duties as assigned
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and customers, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues or concerns
  • Accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with inventory management, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and participating in training and development programs

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. You must also have a strong foundation in math and computer skills, with the ability to accurately fill prescriptions and enter data into our systems. Previous experience in a retail or healthcare setting is preferred, as well as experience with pharmacy systems and inventory management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months of experience in a retail or healthcare setting
  • Previous experience with Walgreens or other pharmacy systems
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or willingness to obtain certification
  • Strong math and computer skills, with the ability to accurately fill prescriptions and enter data into our systems
  • Knowledge of store inventory control and management

You must also be able to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and a strong foundation in math and computer skills.
