Field Service Engineer

Service reputed company is a company that provides critical IT infrastructure support, and they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support their customers in the Omaha area. The role involves traveling to customer sites to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair reputed company-level servers and storage hardware, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites reputed company approximately a 100-mile radius to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• reputed company maintenance and repair on data center hardware, including mid-to-high end servers and storage devices

• Communicate reputed company and confidently to ensure customers feel supported and their concerns are addressed

• Assist with data center relocations and inventory audits

• Interpret maintenance manuals and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve reputed company issues

Skills

• Proven experience in a field service or customer-facing hardware repair role
• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining servers, storage devices, and data center equipment
• Comfortable working independently and managing a regional service territory
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and reputed company tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
• A+ or Server+ certification preferred but not required
