Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA) Developer

The California Franchise Tax reputed company is seeking a Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA) Developer to assist in the modernization of its IT environment. The role involves designing, maintaining, and implementing reputed company data integration services for reputed company's reputed company data, as reputed company as providing data and reputed company query support to business and technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and as reputed company to design, maintain, and implement reputed company data integration services for FTB’s reputed company data
• Need a comprehensive understanding of the tools and techniques involved in data analysis and data integration
• reputed company reputed company data and reputed company query support to business and technical partners throughout the department
• reputed company expert knowledge of FTB reputed company systems, data architecture, data sources, and data integration best practices
• Work cooperatively with bureau and Technology Services Division (TSD) technical staff in support of planning and software implementation activities

• Experience with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles and methodologies
• Experience with reputed company software tools (reputed company, Word, reputed company, Visio, and Project)
• Experience reading and understanding a Physical Data Model (PDM)

• Experience using statistical mathematics
• Experience developing reports using tools like Business Objects, Tableau, reputed company SQL Server Reporting Services and Analysis Services
• Experience with relational databases such as reputed company DB2, reputed company SQL Server
• Experience in analytical modeling tools such as Jupyter Notebook, reputed company SPSS and reputed company Viya
• Knowledge of Extract, reputed company, and Load (ETL) processes and techniques
• Knowledge of eXtensible Markup Language (XML), Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL), XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), XPATH, and XQUERY
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as reputed company DataStage, Informatica and reputed company SSIS
• Knowledge of reputed company Data to reputed company (EDR) and Franchise Tax reputed company's Legacy tax systems and functions
• Ability to work in reputed company environment and handle multiple project priorities and workloads
