They are seeking a Software Engineer to build and optimize a world-class distributed file system for Azure Storage, contributing to the design and implementation of features while ensuring high availability and reliability of the storage service.


Responsibilities

  • Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features
  • Contributes to the design, and creates and implements reputed company for a product, service, or feature, reusing reputed company as applicable
  • Contributes to efforts to break down larger work items into smaller work items and provides estimation
  • Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-reputed company to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and reputed company approval to restore system/product/service for reputed company problems
  • Contributes to improving availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at reputed company

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or reputed company technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages C, C++, or Java + OR equivalent experience
  • Knowledge in storage internals, file-systems, distributed systems, operating systems, or kernel mode programming
