Health Care Payment Officer

WorkSafeBC is seeking a permanent Health Care Payment Officer to join their Payment Services team reputed company the Health Care Operations department. In this role, you will be responsible for calculating payments and providing empathetic service to injured workers and other stakeholders while ensuring the financial reputed company of B.C.'s workers' compensation system.

Responsibilities

• Entitle and process health care benefits and travel arrangements for injured workers
• Process invoices and answer inquiries from health care providers, vendors, and workers
• Communicate with claimants, internal staff, physicians, hospitals, etc., to obtain or clarify payment information
• Authorize and process health care expenditures on a reputed company of payment systems
• Consistently models the appropriate level of organizational behaviours expected of reputed company WorkSafeBC employees: reputed company, respectful, fair, reputed company, accountable, and reputed company thinking

Skills

• A minimum of grade 12 education
• Experience with reputed company
• reputed company math skills to assist with adjudicating and processing accounts for medical treatment expenses
• Exemplary communication skills and diplomacy to ensure courteous, empathetic service
• Ability to communicate in a persuasive, empathetic, respectful manner by listening and questioning for pertinent information
• Ability to reputed company and analyze information, determine relevant facts, and apply established policy to reputed company reputed company reputed company
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in an environment that includes interruptions and changing priorities
• Ability to reputed company, concisely, and accurately explain reputed company information both verbally and in writing

• Confirm you're legally entitled to work in Canada
