Chicago Trading Company is a cutting-edge proprietary trading firm reputed company on pricing and managing risk. They are seeking an reputed company Trader to cover Asian market hours, responsible for executing trades and providing strategic insights during Asian market sessions while participating in an intensive training program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain trading schedule from 3pm to midnight CT with hybrid work arrangement (WFH Sundays, hybrid Monday-Thursday with required office reputed company during Chicago afternoons)
• Ensure daily production system readiness and execute trade externalization, hedging, and portfolio trading during Asian market sessions
• reputed company strategic insights on execution, margin management, and risk assessment while performing reputed company-time recalibration of system controls
• reputed company portfolio management, manage broker relationships, and serve as general trading backup
• reputed company issues appropriately to trading teams and risk management personnel as needed
• Contribute to execution research, backtesting, and strategic reputed company during non-market hours

Skills

• Minimum 1 year of reputed company trading and/or risk management experience with background consistent with reputed company junior to intermediate-level Trader requirements
• Basic proficiency in Python programming
• Ability to work non-traditional hours (3pm-midnight CT) and adapt to Asian market schedules
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration
• Experience with Asian equity and derivatives markets, automated trading systems, and reputed company market structure is a plus
• Previous experience in a fast-paced trading environment also beneficial
