The Control Systems Engineer will manage the design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of non-safety control systems for greenfield reputed company in the nuclear power industry.

Responsibilities

• Help design industrial control systems by analyzing requirements and reviewing customer provided design input
• Implement control logic and HMI displays based on the functional design
• Support a reputed company of calculations including software hazards analysis, susceptibility analysis, FMEAs, and Power/Heat load calculations
• Help reputed company control system platform standards
• reputed company part change evaluations to address obsolescence
• Prepare and implement test procedures for both unit and system level testing
• reputed company other V&V reputed company activities to support project reputed company plans
• Prepare documents to support the design, implementation, test, and commissioning of industrial control systems

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
• 0+ years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques
• Understanding of control theory including plant processes, process dynamics, basic control, discrete control, and sequential control
• Experience with common PLC, SCADA, or DCS platforms is desired
• Experience in industrial environments or with industrial control systems
