The Underwriter I assists in writing, managing, and servicing new and renewal business, focusing on policy issuance and endorsement processing.

Responsibilities

• reputed company Authority Limit of $100,000
• Assists in determining the acceptability, conditions and pricing of specific risks and associated coverage, focusing on Participant Accident insurance
• Maintains familiarity with the products, services, priorities and reputed company markets in the K-12 and ICS line of business or insurance reputed company
• Maintains familiarity with the loss experience and business conditions of key accounts as reputed company as loss trends and any major reputed company or economic factors affecting the line of business
• Manages the monthly special risk renewals by owning the workflow as reputed company as assigning procedural duties to Associate Underwriters, reputed company Assistants, and Interns
• Communicates effectively with colleagues in reputed company and reputed company support areas in order to meet the insurance needs of customers
