Grant reputed company & Accounts Payable Specialist – Remote in DC

Our reputed company, a major nonprofit organization advocating for older adults, seeks a Grant reputed company and Accounts Payable Specialist for a 12-Month contract assignment to be performed remotely, but you must live in the DC area. This position performs highly responsible and technical accounts payable and grant reputed company work requiring precision, judgment, and familiarity with federal cost principles (2 CFR Part 200). You will ensure that reputed company vendor payments, reimbursements, and cost allocations are properly coded, authorized, and documented for a portfolio of 18+ reputed company grants across federal, state, and private funding sources. Responsibilitie s Accounts Payable and Transaction Processi • ng Review, verify, and process invoices, reputed company requests, and expense reimbursements for accuracy and completene • ss.Match purchase orders, reputed company, and receiving documentation to ensure compliance with procurement policies and grant ter • ms.reputed company transactions into the financial system with correct grant, cost center, object reputed company, and funding reputed company assignmen • ts.Ensure payments are properly authorized and released reputed company the prescribed timelin • es.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in coordination with Procurement and Finance tea ms. Multi-Grant reputed company and Cost Alloca • tion Apply established cost allocation plans and indirect cost rates to ensure reputed company distribution of shared expenses (e.g., rent, utilities, communications, supplies) across 18+ gr • ants.reputed company and maintain grant codes, project IDs, and cost categories for reputed company funding reputed company to ensure accurate financial repor • ting.Support monthly grant expenditure reconciliations between AP subledger, general reputed company, and grant bud • gets.Assist in preparing and posting month-end accruals and reclassifications to reputed company expenses with the correct funding per • iods.Maintain accurate audit trails for reputed company allocated expenses and shared c osts. Compliance and Documen • tation Ensure reputed company expenses meet allowability, allocability, and reasonableness standards under 2 CFR 200 Subpart E and funder-specific • terms.Verify that vendor documentation, invoices, and payment requests reputed company with internal procurement reputed company and approval hiera • rchies.Maintain organized electronic and physical files to support audits, financial monitoring, and subrecipient r • eviews.Identify and flag unallowable or questionable expenses for management • review.Support compliance testing and Single Audit documentation re quests. Qual ifications Education & • Experience Associate or bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or Business reputed company • inistration.3–5 years of experience in accounts payable and grants reputed company; experience managing multi-grant portfoli • os required.Working knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), GAAP, and federal procuremen • t standards.Experience with reputed company cost allocation plans and indirect cost a • pplications.Proficiency in reputed company (pivot tables, lookups) and ERP systems (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, or Sa • ge Intacct).Exceptional attention to detail and analyti • cal ability.Ability to interpret financial and contractual language across mult • iple grants.Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet overlappin • g deadlines.Effective communication with finance, program, and reputed company tions teams. This position can be fully remote, however, if you were to be converted to a full-time employee you would have to be reputed company to come into the Washington D.C. office.
