[Remote] Investment Service Specialist - Long Short (Remote)

The Investment Service Specialist will support trading operations, collaborate with internal teams, and drive process improvements to ensure efficient trade execution and compliance. Responsibilities • Support Advisor Teams by delivering exceptional investment services • Work closely with our Advisor teams, serving as an expert on WEG long short SMA operations, providing guidance, assistance, and recommendations • Assist advisors in implementing customized SMA solutions aligned with client objectives • Collaborate with Investment Strategy and other internal teams to develop materials and resources that enhance advisor engagement • Participate in the creation of presentations for end clients who are looking to participate in Long Short SMA investing • Collaborate with internal and external partners to help implement long short SMA’s • Work closely with custodians, managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of SMA strategies • Partner with senior team members to support portfolio implementation and respond to ad hoc requests • Ensure proper setup and integration within systems to maintain operational integrity • Coordinate with third-party managers to facilitate onboarding and servicing of SMA accounts • Drive process improvements and operational efficiency • As an subject matter on the broad range of WEG’s advanced investment platform, seek ways to partner and leverage evolving technologies to increase the efficiency of investment operations • Partner with business optimization teams on initiatives that improve scalability and reduce operational complexity • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to refine processes and leverage technology for greater efficiency • Develop creative solutions that reduce administrative burden and encourage adoption of advanced investment solutions Skills • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance or economics, or related • 3 years of experience in Financial Services with a focus on investment operations • Knowledge of financial markets and investment operations • Proven written and verbal (presentation) communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization and clients • Ability to create quality written presentations and articles for Advisor and client consumption • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and projects • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software • Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality Benefits • Training and professional development • Medical, dental and vision coverage (Available to full-time employees and their families) • Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contribution and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for medical, dependent, and transit expenses • Life and AD&D insurance – employer paid and voluntary options • Short-term and long-term disability, workers compensation – employer paid • 401k with match and profit sharing • Wellness programs and resources • Voluntary benefits, including pet insurance • 18 days of paid time off (PTO), accrued annually (25 PTO days after 4 years of service) • 12 paid holidays each year (10 pre-determined and 2 floating days) • Paid parental leave and paid caregiver leave (Caregiver leave available after 6 months of tenure) • Reimbursement for tuition, licensing, and other credentials (Available after meeting service requirements) Company Overview • In 1997, four advisors sharing an office space discovered they also shared an essential belief: The financial services industry needed a new and better way to provide advice to clients—one that would help relieve stress from their clients’ financial lives.
