Zantech is looking for a talented IT Consultant (SME) to provide hands-on technical expertise and implementation support across multiple program tasks, execute data governance initiatives, infrastructure assessments, cloud schedule management, and operational technology modernization activities for a Hybrid role based out of the Washington DC Metro area. The IT Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting CBP's mission by delivering technical solutions that enhance border security operations through improved IT infrastructure and data management capabilities. Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to: • Assess cost and performance of cloud technologies for data migration strategy • Conduct database assessments and map out migration paths • Develop data standards and governance policies • Create and maintain enterprise content management repositories • Provide ad-hoc support to CDO and workstream leads • Respond rapidly to data calls and tasking requests • Assess data governance tools and capabilities • Support cloud schedule dashboard development • Execute infrastructure modernization technical tasks Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions: • 5+ years of experience • Hands-on technical experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure • Data governance and quality management expertise • Requirements development and user story creation • Enterprise content management and SharePoint administration • Cloud migration and modernization technical skills • Database assessment and migration planning • Infrastructure automation and optimization • Federal compliance and security requirements knowledge Preferred Education/Certifications: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field • Cloud platform certifications • Data management or analytics certifications • ITIL Foundation • Agile/Scrum practitioner certifications Required Security Clearance: • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active High Public Trust or higher clearance, per contract requirements. “Outstanding Performance…Always!” Our corporate motto represents our commitment to build long-term relationships with both our clients and our employees by providing the highest quality service in everything we do.
