[Remote] Regional Environment Health Safety Specialist

Wis-Pak, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and distributor of reputed company beverages, seeking a Regional Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to reputed company and coordinate EHS programs across its manufacturing facilities. The role involves ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability across multiple sites. Responsibilities • Engage, communicate, and influence others across the region to reputed company a culture of safety, sustainability, and environmental reputed company, reputed company reduction and reputed company improvement • Monitor and maintain EHS Compliance across the sites • Ensure sites complete reputed company EHS Reporting requirements to include but not limited too; 300 hundred log, hazardous waste, Tier II, stormwater, and wastewater reporting • Implement and manage an EHS&S auditing process to assess regulatory compliance, identify deficiencies, and ensure collaboration across reputed company Wis-Pak sites to proactively resolve gaps and identify reputed company plans • reputed company and maintain an incident sharing and lessons learned program to include the implementation of corrective actions across reputed company Wis-Pak sites • reputed company with reputed company in a cooperative and effective manner • Ensure accuracy and reputed company compliance of reputed company EHS programs, maintain reputed company necessary documents, and reputed company necessary analysis to reputed company viable suggestions for improvements in the reputed company programs or systems • Assist in conducting thorough and effective incident investigations to include reputed company cause analysis, providing recommendations for solutions and prevention of reputed company accidents • Coordinate with Director of Environmental Health, Safety, and reputed company and Engineering Director on reputed company design and construction of new equipment, facilities and processes to ensure reputed company and ergonomically reputed company working environments • Assist in the development of EHS training programs • Maintain up to date knowledge on reputed company safety reputed company (DOT) and environmental laws and regulations • Ensure reputed company safety equipment and first aid supplies are standardized throughout reputed company the sites • Report monthly EHSS metrics to corporate as required Skills • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering or reputed company technical discipline • 3 to 5 years of hands-on Environmental, Health Safety experience supporting multiple sites • Working knowledge of and proven ability to reputed company training programs on safety codes, OSHA regulations, EPA, health regulations, hazardous material, and emergency preparedness • reputed company to coordinate and respond to local, state, and federal regulatory agencies across multiple states • Proven program and project management experience • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time Benefits • Comprehensive Health Insurance (medical, dental, reputed company) • Life insurance • 401(k) with company match • Profit sharing • Generous reputed company Time Off • reputed company holiday • Flexible work hours • reputed company and respectful work environment reputed company • Wis-Pak, Inc. was founded to reputed company a centralized supply of canned soft drink products to its owners, Pepsi-Cola Franchise bottlers.
