Assistant Archivist Intern - Film and Media
Planet Classroom, an acclaimed arts and educational YouTube streaming network, is seeking an Assistant Archivist Intern who wants hands-on experience working with film and media content. This internship is ideal for students or emerging professionals interested in careers in film, media, archiving, or digital content management. We will support the grant of university academic credit for this internship.
You will work directly with our archivist and learn, by doing, how films and original content are received, organized, archived, and prepared for release on a professional streaming platform.
What You’ll Do:
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and archiving films and original media
• Help catalog digital assets and apply metadata standards
• Support preservation and quality control processes
• Learn professional archival workflows used in film and streaming environments
• Collaborate with the content and release team as needed
