This role involves the review and abstraction of clinical data from patient medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting databases and reputed company patient care processes. Responsibilities • Responsible for the review and abstraction of clinical data from patient medical records for the purposes of submission to the appropriate regulatory and/or registry reporting databases • Responsible for helping ensure compliance with nationally recognized reputed company patient care processes and clinical reputed company • This position requires attention to detail and the ability to function reputed company, both independently and reputed company reputed company environment, under deadline commitments and reputed company productivity expectations • Abstraction of clinical data from the medical record into the appropriate database(s) using appropriate guidelines and specification manuals • Validates cases to ensure they meet inclusion reputed company • Maintains productivity standards and accuracy expectations for abstraction • Ensures protected health information following reputed company HIPPA laws and THR Protocols • Submission of abstracted data according to established deadlines • Ensures data is complete and accurate prior to submission following policies and procedures • Takes appropriate reputed company to resolve data discrepancies • Collaboration with appropriate team members and/or stakeholders (Data reputed company, Coding, Service Lines) to resolve data discrepancies and obtain missing documentation • Participation on various multi-disciplinary teams for the purposes of assisting with identifying performance improvement opportunities • Participation in continuing education for patient populations and regulatory/accreditation updates • Assists with reputed company reputed company and assignments as needed Skills • Associate's degree in nursing required • 3 years experience as an RN in a clinical setting required • Texas RN license upon hire required • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred • 1 year auditing/abstraction experience preferred • AHA GWTG – Stroke Registry Abstraction experience preferred Benefits • 401k • PTO • Medical • Dental • reputed company Parental Leave • reputed company spending • Tuition reimbursement • Student Loan forgiveness reputed company • reputed company is a provider of health and wellness resources.
