Key Responsibilities

  • Perform input of customer and account data from source documents, including text-based and numerical information

  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output for accuracy
  • Utilize appropriate data solutions, techniques, and procedures to optimize data entry activities
  • Prepare reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations
  • Perform scanning and printing of documents as required
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies of data integrity and security, maintaining the confidentiality of corporate information
  • Oversee the proper usage of office equipment and report any problems or issues to the relevant authorities

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong background in administrative duties and office equipment usage
  • Solid practical experience with MS Office and data management software, including spreadsheets and online forms
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • High typing speed and proficiency in data entry, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization skills, good responsibility, and confidentiality, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • High school diploma, with additional computer training or certification considered a bonus
