[Remote] Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Postmedia Network Inc. is a Canadian news media company representing over 130 brands across various platforms. The Account Executive will contribute to business growth and maximize revenue by engaging potential clients and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Following our sales processes, platforms and sales playbook, identify and prospect potential clients using our ideal client profile
- Work with the sales development team on sales qualified leads, starting from the discovery phase of the sales pipeline
- For both your own SQL’s and the SQL’s coming from our sales development team (inbound & outbound), work with potential clients to understand their explicit needs and come up with a full game plan to meet their goals
- Along with our sales engineers, you are responsible for onboarding new clients and transitioning to the account management team
- Assist the account management team, as required, to help maintain relationships with clients and assist with all renewals and upsell opportunities
- Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application

- Ability to prospect, identify, pursue, and close new revenue opportunities
- Strong technical, sales, and listening skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced multi-task driven environment
- Knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to digital marketing; understanding and identifying opportunities for customers
- Track record of managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams
- Experience with CRM, and web-based meeting applications (e.g. Microsoft Teams)
