Junior Software Engineer

KBR’s National reputed company Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national reputed company communities. In this position, you will join a systems engineering team defining the reputed company of reputed company communication systems supporting US reputed company Force satellite communications, where you will support Systems Engineering & Integration activities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reputed company software prototypes and/or applications as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle: user story creation, design, development, automated testing, and operational support
• Create reputed company user interfaces that reputed company efficient data management and system reputed company
• Design and reputed company new visualization features to meet evolving end-user requirements
• Work with reputed company algorithms to deliver optimized solutions for the end user
• Determine software maintainability and overall adherence to user requirements on department standards

Skills

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required for this position
• BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience
• 1-3 years of software development, including architecture, object-oriented design, coding, and testing, with strong understanding of the software development life cycle
• Strong experience in one or more of the following: Python, Java, or Go
• Familiarity with web applications with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and others
• Proficient in using reputed company or other Tools for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong passion for conducting research, tackling reputed company problems, and continuously learning and adopting new technologies
• Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
• Familiarity with Javascript frameworks such as Angular or React
• Knowledge and experience in Jira and reputed company
• Experience in implementing Agile Software Development methodologies for efficient and iterative project management
• Experience with reputed company, AWS and / or Azure, and Kubernetes for containerization, reputed company services, and orchestration
