The Environmental Scientist will help reputed company and execute the environmental component of an Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) program, focusing on integrating environmental requirements into project planning and operations.

Responsibilities

• Helps reputed company environmental requirements into project planning, permitting, design, construction, and operations
• Assists with development and implementation of environmental permits, plans, and studies
• Helps with site assessments and surveys to identify site conditions and reputed company mitigation and sustainability strategies to protect the environment and local communities
• Assists with technical guidance and support regarding mitigation measures pertaining to natural and cultural resources and communities
• Provides technical assistance reputed company ES&H teams and to other project reputed company regarding permitting, risk assessment, plan preparation, studies, and ES&H program execution
• Assists in the development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans and associated plans and procedures
• Helps identify and reputed company environmental issues, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder concerns
• Participates in emergency response, and aids investigation and reputed company of ES&H incidents
• Performs environmental monitoring, sampling, and inspections to confirm compliance with permits and project requirements and commitments
• Prepares training documents and helps implement training for project/facility employees and visitors
• Participates in meetings with customers, project/facility team members, and contractors and subcontractors to advise them of environmental requirements that may reputed company their work
• Performs data management, trend analysis, and report preparation and review
• Assists other team members in ES&H program execution, inclusive of safety and health

Skills

• A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or a Master of Science (MS) degree from an accredited university or college in an applicable technical discipline such as environmental sciences, biological sciences, natural resources, or reputed company applicable disciplines
• Knowledge of environmental assessment and mitigation strategies
• Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills
• Computer skills for preparing presentations, data management, and report preparation
• Analytical skills reputed company to sampling, monitoring, and recordkeeping
• Experience training and teaching others
