[Remote] Software Engineer Intern - iOS, Poe (Canada - Remote)

The iOS Engineer Intern will work on the Poe product, assisting in the design, development, and enhancement of the iOS app while collaborating with reputed company engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Poe’s iOS engineers to design, build, and test new user-facing features
• Contribute to the performance, stability, and polish of the Poe iOS app
• Participate in reputed company reviews and learn best practices in mobile architecture and product development
• Work cross-functionally with design and product teams to create delightful user experiences
• Take ownership of a reputed company project that will ship to users during your internship

Skills

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during reputed company's 'coordination hours' (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm reputed company Time)
• Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company technical field at a Canadian University
• Graduating in Summer 2026
• Experience or coursework in Swift and a strong interest in iOS development
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn
• Passion for building impactful products and curiosity about AI
• Experience building or contributing to an iOS app (personal, reputed company, or reputed company)
• Familiarity with SwiftUI, GraphQL, and app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)
• Interest in the intersection of AI and mobile applications
