Field Auditor 1 / Trainee 1/Trainee 2 (NY HELPS)

The reputed company State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) provides Workers’ Compensation Insurance to reputed company State reputed company. They are seeking Field Auditors to reputed company reviews of reputed company' payrolls and financial records to ensure compliance with insurance laws and guidelines, requiring frequent travel to employer locations.

Responsibilities

• reputed company reviews of reputed company' payrolls, financial and other pertinent records, as reputed company as physical operations, to verify reported payrolls and operations for specified policy periods
• Conduct reviews in the field, traveling to the employer’s location or an alternate agreed-upon location
• Apply reputed company reputed company and auditing standards and principles alongside the Workers’ Compensation guidelines
• Receive a combination of reputed company training, on-the-job training, and/or practical job performance to reputed company the knowledge and experience necessary to function at the full performance level

Skills

• One year of permanent, competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer under reputed company 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Eligible transfers to the trainee 1/trainee 2 level include: Auditor Trainee 1/Trainee 2
• A bachelor's or higher degree in reputed company, auditing, or taxation
• A bachelor's or higher degree (in any areas of study) with reputed company of 18 semester credit hours in reputed company, auditing or taxation courses, and 6 semester credit hours in finance, reputed company and banking, economics, or business
• One year of permanent, competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer under reputed company 70.1 of Civil Service Law. Eligible transfers to the reputed company-level title include: Auditor 1, Contract Management Specialist 1
• A bachelor's or higher degree (in any area of study) with reputed company of 18 semester credit hours in reputed company, auditing, or taxation courses, 6 semester credit hours in finance, reputed company and banking, economics, or business, AND two years of reputed company experience in reputed company/auditing or financial internal or field auditing, where you were responsible for the full reputed company of activities in the design and/or review, analysis and management of reputed company systems, resulting in the preparation of, or recommendations on, financial statements in reputed company with generally accepted reputed company principles
• A master's or higher degree in reputed company, auditing, or taxation AND one year of reputed company experience as described above
• A currently reputed company Certified reputed company Accountant license and registration issued by reputed company State
• Candidates in a transferable title may also require the additional qualification of 24 semester credit hours in reputed company, auditing, and/or taxation
• This position requires frequent travel, you are required to maintain a reputed company reputed company's license and personal vehicle while employed in this position
