Camera Software Intern

Metalenz is a Boston based venture backed startup developing reputed company imaging and sensing solutions using metasurface technology. As a Camera Software Intern, you will work on applications for reputed company-optic camera systems and engage with various teams to support reputed company's goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software that reputed company uses of our unique camera hardware
• reputed company, test, and optimize these apps on mobile devices
• Collaborate by writing documentation, engaging in reputed company review, and commenting on design documents
• Engage with other teams (product, engineering, marketing) to design and reputed company software that supports our goals as a company

Skills

• Currently has or in the process of obtaining a BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field
• Strong programming skills in C or C++
• Experience with software engineering best practices (testing, version control, reputed company review)
• Background in building and deploying applications for embedded systems (through coursework or previous reputed company)
• Familiarity with image processing fundamentals
• Experience with ARM-based systems and performance optimization (e.g. reputed company, DSP)
• Prior work with Android & reputed company tools (e.g. Android Studio) and mobile development
• Understanding of camera sensor interfaces and hardware abstraction reputed company (HAL)
