Job Overview

We are currently seeking full-time Remote Customer Service Representatives to work with our clients, providing exceptional support and service to our customers. As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, processing orders, and addressing customer inquiries in a professional and efficient manner. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, offering a competitive pay rate of $17.50 for English speaking and $20.00 for Bilingual French speaking representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and process orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Correctly document customer interactions and track call types to ensure accurate records
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent support and service
  • Follow up with customers to resolve inquiries regarding order status, shipping status, and stock availability
  • Takes inbound phone calls for up to 90% of assigned shift, ensuring prompt and professional service
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure seamless operations

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must live within 2 hours of Port Washington, NY
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume calls or call center experience
  • Medical related background (medical billing, claims experience, in-office experience in a medical setting) or Insurance experience is a plus
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, including the ability to communicate with confidence in a clear, professional speaking voice
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated listening and comprehension skills
  • A clear team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to maintain composure when dealing with difficult customer situations
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office (Word and Excel), with SAP experience a plus
  • Previous experience in the optical industry is an asset, with the ability to navigate information systems and internet
  • Strong English comprehension and a good command of grammar, with the ability to connect hardwire/ethernet (no hotspots/WIFI)

  • Bilingual French speaking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with French-speaking customers
  • Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide insights to support business decisions
