About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Handle escalated customer complaints, ensuring prompt and professional responses that meet the Department of Transportation's regulations and other governing agency requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and support to customer relations agents, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assist in the onboarding of new customer advocates, mentoring them to ensure they are current and knowledgeable about company policies, disability regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions that enhance the customer experience.
- Analyze customer complaints, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement to management.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of DOT regulations, industry trends, and best practices in customer relations.
- Participate in interdepartmental projects that impact customer care, providing expertise and insights to drive positive change.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a call center, customer service center, or airline environment, with a focus on operations and/or customer service.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, although a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred experience in the airline industry, particularly in areas such as reservations or customer service.
- Familiarity with Windows-based software programs and database experience.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to de-escalate customer issues and provide timely, efficient, and courteous service.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working with customers with disabilities, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with providing exceptional service to this community.
