Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative role at arenaflex is a critical part of our team, interacting directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our reputation for high-quality service. This position requires independent and self-directed performance while working collaboratively as part of a greater team. The primary focus of this role is on communicating the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients.
- Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, while working closely with patients.
- Conduct numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies.
- Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, while proactively gaining patient and order information.
- Provide customer education, routine assessment, and problem identification, with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist.
- Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, health care, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and other relevant areas.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone.
- 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application.
- Must reside in the state of Nevada.
- Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working in a health care or pharmacy setting.
- Knowledge of insurance, health care, and reimbursement-related requirements.
- Experience with customer service software and technology.
