We believe in fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning, where our employees can thrive and reach their full potential. **Job Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for: * Completing daily tasks related to check processing, object processing, direct debits, and budget transfers at arenaflex Credit Union. * Coordinating return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions. * Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing. * Working member cases/assignments and following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws. * Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks. * Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products. * Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns. * Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching. * Completing daily balancing and department closing. * Obtaining information from members for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic wire transfer requests. * Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing wire transfer information. * Communicating with vendors to process wire transfers. * Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming wire transfer laws. * Depositing check returns, reviewing member returned checks on draft changes, processing member checks, affirming members for outgoing wire transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing wire transfers. * Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees. **Essential Qualifications** * High school degree or equivalent. * Intermediate Excel and Word experience. * Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs. * Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills. * Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team. * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data. * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure. * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department. * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members. * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision. * Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail. * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous customer/member service experience. * Previous banking or Credit Union experience. * Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience. * Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) won through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Strong customer service skills and ability to provide exceptional customer experiences. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
