**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of arenaflex, interacting directly with patients to provide exceptional service, answer questions, and resolve issues. You'll work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, while maintaining our company's reputation for high-quality service. This role requires independent and self-directed performance, as well as a strong working knowledge of insurance, health care, and reimbursement-related requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients
* Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, working closely with the patient and Specialty Projects Team
* Handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gaining patient and order information
* Provide customer education, routine assessment, and problem identification, with escalation to a pharmacist as needed
* Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, health care, and reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education
* Work closely with the team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
**Essential Qualifications**
* 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone
* 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application
* Must reside in the state of Nevada
* Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a health care or pharmaceutical setting
* Strong knowledge of insurance, health care, and reimbursement-related requirements
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
