You will be the primary point of contact for patients, answering their questions, resolving their concerns, and ensuring that their medication orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner. You will also work closely with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy via telephone * Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system * Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients * Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and healthcare providers * Work with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records * Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards **Essential Qualifications** * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications * One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude * Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** * Pre-existing healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and patients * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and email applications * Strong attention to detail and accuracy **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
