**Experienced Customer Service Representative - Work From Home Opportunity with arenaflex**

As a key member of our team, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to help our clients plan participants navigate the enrollment process and make updates to their health care and/or pension plans.

**Job Details**
* **Pay:** $18/hour (with a pay increase for bilingual candidates who speak French or Spanish)
* **Contract:** Up to 6 months (with the possibility of extension or permanent role for top performers)
* **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 7am-7pm (with extended hours during busy season)
* **Location:** Must live within 1 hour of Bloomington, MN (with the option to work from home after initial training)
**The Role**
As a Benefit Customer Service Representative, you'll have the opportunity to:
* Build rapport and respond to plan participants in a compassionate manner
* Customize your customer service approach to meet all types of communication styles and personalities
* Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws
* Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines
* Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes
* Regularly participate in team meetings and training
* Perform other duties as assigned
**Key Responsibilities**
* Quickly build rapport and respond to plan participants in a compassionate manner
* Customize customer service approach to meet all types of communication styles and personalities while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy during difficult calls
* Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements
* Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines providing appropriate and accurate information
* Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes in a professional manner
* Regularly participate in team meetings and training
* Perform other duties as assigned
**Essential Qualifications**
* 6 months to 1 year of call center experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bilingual in French or Spanish
* Experience working in a customer service role in the insurance industry
* Knowledge of HIPAA and Data Privacy laws
* Certification in customer service or a related field
