As a remote Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in our operation, interacting with Technologists in the field, regional account representatives, and front-line staff, including Directors of Nursing and Administration. Job Summary

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing customer orders via telephone or fax, ensuring prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional handling of all customer requests. As a primary point of contact with our customers, you will strive to listen to their needs and provide a positive experience. Additionally, you will be cross-trained in other positions within the department and may be asked to perform these functions as needed. Your exceptional customer service skills, combined with your ability to work independently and as part of a team, will make you an invaluable asset to our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customers, resolving routine and complex problems in a professional manner
  • Handle an average of 11 calls per hour per eight-hour shift after 4 months in the position, including inbound calls
  • Display active listening and superior customer service skills for both external and internal customers
  • Document activity in our system and enter orders manually via our fax process as needed
  • Operate the phone system effectively and adhere to your scheduled work hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction
  • Computer knowledge and proficiency in using various software applications
  • Strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on resolving customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage your time effectively
  • Professional demeanor and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results in a remote work environment
  • Ability to type 35-40 words per minute, with accuracy and efficiency
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
  • Medical terminology or experience preferred, but not required
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have high-speed internet for remote work, with a reliable and secure connection
