Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient. You will be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional service to our customers, answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations to drive sales growth and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient
  • Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with fast and efficient checkout service, and processes transactions accurately
  • Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and arenaflex service traits
  • Provides customers with recommendations for sale items, trade-up, and companion items to drive sales growth and customer loyalty
  • Maintains a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays, and ensures compliance with store policies and procedures
  • Implements asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, and ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
  • Assists with exterior and interior maintenance, including stock rotation, display construction, and inventory management
  • Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, and assumes web pick-up responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and team members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment, with a focus on customer service and sales growth
  • Knowledge of store systems and equipment, including cash registers and inventory management systems
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching
