Job Overview

This remote position, with an on-site requirement in Chicago 6-8 times a year, offers a unique blend of flexibility and face-to-face interaction. As a Customer Service Representative III at arenaflex, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to members, handling a variety of inquiries, and actively participating in sales and up-service programs. Your primary goal will be to exceed service expectations, ensuring that every interaction with arenaflex is professional, efficient, and satisfactory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking all necessary steps to exceed service expectations by actively participating in sales and up-service programs that achieve specific unit goals, with 60%-70% of your time dedicated to outbound calling throughout the week.
  • Handling phone inquiries of all types regarding membership benefits, membership pricing, and processing in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Supporting access to and navigation of the arenaflex website through assistance with registration and password reset.
  • Responding to service inquiries regarding arenaflex products by providing information on products, pricing, order status, and billing.
  • Responding to inquiries regarding print and online journal subscriptions, including product information, pricing, order status, and billing, and entering journal orders, researching and resolving service interruptions, sending back issues, or making other subscription adjustments as appropriate.
  • Actively participating in training, performance management, workgroups, and service center improvement projects to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of customer service and/or telemarketing experience, with a strong preference for candidates who possess both.
  • Experience with service center tools, such as telephony, measurement, and applications.
  • Sales experience in an outbound call environment is preferred, as it will enable you to effectively engage with members and promote arenaflex's services and products.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively via phone and email.
  • The ability to work effectively in a high-volume, production-oriented environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of service quality.
  • On-site expectation: You must be able to travel to the Chicago office for events 6-8 times per year, which will provide opportunities for face-to-face interaction with the team and arenaflex's members.
