About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Product Cybersecurity to lead our team of highly innovative cybersecurity engineers. As a technical leader, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the end-to-end security architecture of arenaflex's software(s)/application(s)/service(s). Your vision for security across all products within the arenaflex portfolio will be instrumental in driving our success. This is a remote work-from-home opportunity, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide periodic updates, education, and presentations to staff and management on various aspects of cybersecurity
  • Responsible for administrative management of cybersecurity professionals, including HR organization, pay organization, time reporting, and more
  • Define, prioritize, allocate resources, track, and provide status reporting of work tasks, projects, and initiatives
  • Review and manage departmental budgets and resource allocations
  • Monitor changes in regulation and compliance standards that impact assigned areas of responsibility and proactively update norms, practices, and models accordingly
  • Manage, coordinate, and evaluate the work of assigned cybersecurity teams to ensure the security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of arenaflex's systems, products, and services
  • Build relationships and partner with functional areas across the business to raise awareness and support for cybersecurity
  • Coordinate division activities with internal/external technology and business owners/service providers
  • Provide overall resource/project management for the division, including matching individuals to projects, acquiring required resources, and more
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external audit firms to facilitate the implementation of audits

Performance and Support

  • Manage the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, document, and implement cybersecurity policies and designs
  • Manage the training, documentation, and implementation of cybersecurity assessments and testing
  • Coordinate remediation of compliant items to meet relevant compliance standards
  • Be available to respond to ad-hoc cybersecurity and risk management events, including emergency situations

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
  • At least 9 years of related experience
  • A strong and proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and colleagues
  • Experience with threat modeling or other risk identification techniques, and risk management
  • Experience managing teams to identify key and strategic risk
  • Experience collaborating and influencing multi-functional teams to drive security improvements
  • Experience leading prioritization of security risks/vulnerabilities and ensuring they are properly addressed by the business and fixed or mitigated
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze data and statistics to support assumptions and recommendations and drive actions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to convey complex technical subjects in a concise and direct manner
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, logical organizing skills, and a willingness to learn and stretch beyond your comfort zone
  • Demonstrated knowledge of threat landscape, security threat and vulnerability management, and security monitoring and analysis
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet employment eligibility
  • Reliable, consistent attendance is a fundamental requirement of the position

Preferred Qualifications

To stand out from the crowd, you'll have:

  • A graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • One or more of the following certifications: CEH, GSEC, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA, SSCP, CASP+, OSCP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
  • 12+ years of relative experience
  • Working knowledge and/or hands-on experience with as many of the following areas as possible: Operating system and platform security, Networking Security and an understanding of network and web-related protocols, Voice over IP and unified communication security
  • Solid subject matter expertise in the fields of IT security and risk management
  • Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure security
  • Experience with cloud-native products and in-depth understanding of microservice architectures and implementations
  • Expertise in application development and dev-operations security technologies and integration
  • Demonstrated ability to think about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Experience within the transformation of traditional data center security efforts into industry-adopted cloud technologies
  • Demonstrated history with compliance frameworks and requirements
  • Familiarity with a fast-paced and Agile development environment
  • Experience providing training and mentorship
  • Ability to perform manual security code reviews
  • Ability to interpret dynamic/static analysis tools, and penetration test results
