Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a remote worker, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our members and providers, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months, offering a competitive pay rate of $19.50 per hour. You must reside in Florida and be available to work from 8 am to 5 pm EST, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in resolving missed visits or missed supplies by reaching out to providers for status updates and authorizations as needed
  • Handle all long-term care (LTC) calls from members and providers, focusing on one-call resolution and answering calls in a timely manner
  • Review and correct authorizations to ensure they match the Primary Care Case Plan (PCCP)
  • Triage and route calls correctly, attempting to resolve issues before escalating them to a supervisor or other team members
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all interactions are professional, courteous, and respectful

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a managed care or physician's office setting
  • Call center experience, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and typing skills
  • Experience with long-term care (LTC) and medical authorization processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Windows
  • A high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred qualifications include experience working in a remote or virtual environment, as well as familiarity with healthcare software and systems.
