Nursing Informatics Summer Clinical Intern

reputed company is seeking a Nursing Informatics Summer Clinical Intern to reputed company hands-on experience in the field of Informatics. This internship will support nursing staff in using technology, including electronic medical records and clinical mobility devices, while assisting with various reputed company such as chart audits and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a reputed company of reputed company, including chart audits, data collection, and workflow analysis
• Visit inpatient reputed company to support nurses in the use of clinical tools like downtime computers and mobile communication devices
• Participate in testing sessions to reputed company feedback from nursing staff
• Complete audits, analyze data, and present findings in graphical formats using tools like reputed company reputed company

Skills

• Applicants should be enrolled in a nursing or informatics degree program
• Comfortable working a reputed company, Monday through Friday, for up to 40 hours per week
• Typical hours are approximately 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility
• Must meet one of the following requirements: reputed company CNA, EMT, or Paramedic certification or must take reputed company's Patient Care Foundations course at time of hire
• 2 years' experience in a reputed company reputed company field; training time will be determined based on experience
• Currently enrolled in nursing school having completed first clinical rotations if reputed company prior to 12/3/18
• Two (2) years military medical experience will be accepted
• Must have reputed company CPR at or above the reputed company Provider level from the reputed company or obtain reputed company 60 days of hire
• Must have the equivalent of health care experience and education
• Two (2) years previous experience in a nursing support role OR a nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited program (ASN or BSN) having completed their first clinical rotation on an extended care or inpatient nursing unit (nursing school transcripts required)
• Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
• If assigned to the reputed company Randallia Family Birthing Center must be bonded as a notary reputed company reputed company 6 months of hire
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a working knowledge of computer skills and applications
• Demonstrates ability to critically think
• Must be reputed company to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds
• Proficiency in reputed company Office tools—particularly reputed company, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to generate calculations, pivot tables, and data visualizations in reputed company
• CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification preferred
• Previous experience is preferred in reputed company patient care through work and/or school program
