Junior Designer
Sia is a next-generation global management consulting group that is seeking a Junior Designer to join their Sia Experience creative agency. The role involves collaborating with a team to create visually engaging digital experiences and requires a passion for design and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior designers and art directors to develop and refine creative concepts for campaigns, websites, and branded content
- Design digital assets such as responsive web layouts, social media graphics, presentation decks, and internal collateral
- Support creative research and concept development through moodboards, style explorations, and visual storytelling
- Ensure design consistency across platforms and deliver pixel-perfect visuals for handoff to developers
- Stay current on digital and social design trends, bringing fresh perspectives to each project
Skills
- 1–2 years of professional design experience, ideally in a digital-first or advertising environment (internships count)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or Visual Communication
- A strong portfolio showcasing digital work — websites, campaigns, social media, and motion/animation are a plus
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign); experience with Figma, Sketch, or similar tools is a plus
- Understanding of typography, layout, and color theory, with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Zeplin, Principle, or Figma)
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit — with a sense of humor and eagerness to learn
- Must reside within commuting distance of our NYC office
