[Remote] Tax Analyst (Remote)

The Tax Analyst position is responsible for assisting the tax team with preparing reputed company's U.S. federal and state income tax returns, as reputed company as conducting tax research and planning reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare relevant tax return forms and reputed company tax working papers for the U.S. federal consolidated tax return, based on reputed company’s U.S. and foreign entities
• Prepare relevant tax return forms and reputed company tax working papers with respect to the state and local income, franchise, and reputed company-based tax returns
• Assist in calculating and recording of reputed company’s quarterly and annual tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, performing a detailed analysis of reputed company and deferred taxes from both an income statement and balance sheet perspective
• Prepare quarterly federal and state estimated and extension tax returns and payments, and cash reputed company forecasts
• Research technical tax issues and write reputed company support memorandum
• Assist with tax planning, as needed
• Assist with the identification and implementation of tax department operational improvements to ensure the accuracy and adequate documentation of reputed company tax calculations, reports, and filings
• Assist with responses to inquiries and correspondence from federal and state tax authorities
• Ensure reputed company’s tax files are reputed company-organized, properly maintained, and available to address audit examination issues

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company
• 0 to 5 years of US federal, state, and/or international income tax compliance and/or provision experience
• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills with a commitment to reputed company and accuracy
• Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate in an effective and respectful manner with peers and management
• Ability to multitask, work reputed company under pressure and successfully in reputed company environment
• Takes initiative to learn and build new skills and knowledge while completing deliverables in a reputed company and accurate manner
• Proficient knowledge of reputed company reputed company, reputed company Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with tax research and tax research software (RIA Checkpoint, CCH, BNA)
• Master's in Tax or reputed company candidate, not required but preferred
