Research Consultant
RGP is a next-generation human capital firm that connects top talent to execute transformation projects for global clients. The Research Consultant will design and execute research strategies to uncover actionable insights, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based findings and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Identify critical research questions and select appropriate methodologies to acquire meaningful and valid data
- Create Research plans, participant screeners, Interview guides, survey instruments, Methodology briefs, hypothesis frameworks, and other supporting materials
- Conduct end-to-end research projects, including planning, recruitment, and execution
- Apply a mixed-methods approach (including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics) to gather insights
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to uncover patterns and opportunities
- Translate data into effective reports, data visualizations, and presentation materials to support read outs
- Translate research findings into clear, actionable recommendations for clients
- Create and deliver impactful Insight decks & executive summaries of research activities
- Support the development of personas, journey maps, and other related assets based on research
- Collaborate with strategists to align research outputs with business objectives and KPIs
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams of designers, product managers, developers, etc, to validate concepts and prototypes
- Work with senior researchers to support planning, execution, and delivery where needed
- Produce high-quality research deliverables such as clear research reports, annotated wireframes, and other artifacts that effectively communicate insights and design recommendations
- Participate in client workshops and ideation sessions, representing research insights. Ensure research deliverables meet quality standards and timelines
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in UX research or a related field
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills to communicate insights effectively
- Familiarity with research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop) and techniques
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Factors, HCI, or related field
- Portfolio or examples of research deliverables required
