Patient Scheduling Coordinator
Alternate Solutions Health Network is dedicated to providing exceptional home care and hospice services. The Patient Scheduling Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing patient experience by scheduling visits and addressing inquiries from both patients and field staff.
Responsibilities
- Responds promptly and courteously to all patients’ inquiries or problems and collaborate with administrator/supervisor regarding client concerns or complaints
- Manage daily workflow in company database and process daily and weekly reports
- Follow Medicare guidelines including: Low Utilization Payment Adjustment (LUPA), Re-assessment, and 13/19 supervisory visits
- Match patients with a field staff member by determining best match in clinical skill sets and personality
- Address missed, declined, unverified, and reassigned visits with field staff
- Support co-workers and participate in on-call requirements
Skills
- High-School graduate or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in the Health Care industry
- Experience in home care is highly preferred
- Associate's degree
