Trader & Investment Analyst
Stratos Private Wealth is a wealth management firm that combines financial planning, life coaching, and investment management. They are seeking a Trader & Investment Analyst to execute trades, monitor portfolios, and conduct investment research within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute trades across equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and fixed income to support rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting, allocation changes, dollar-cost averaging, and cash management
- Monitor portfolios for drift and cash tolerance, proactively identifying issues and recommending solutions to advisors and the portfolio management team
- Support advisors with transition analysis, gain/loss estimates, and time-sensitive investment requests
- Maintain and manage portfolio accounting and performance data in Orion software, ensuring accuracy across asset classifications, benchmarks, householding, and reporting
- Prepare and distribute performance reports and serve as a go-to resource for advisor questions related to performance and portfolio data
- Reconcile data across Orion, custodial platforms, and CRM systems to ensure consistency and reliability
- Conduct investment research and analysis using YCharts to support advisor recommendations and client conversations
- Participate in portfolio reviews, collaborate with investment managers, and contribute to research and special projects
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 1+ years experience in financial services, investment operations, trading, or portfolio administration
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard for accuracy and follow-through
- Clear, professional communication skills with a client-service mindset
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data and reports
- Experience with CRM, portfolio accounting, and investment analysis software, familiarity with Salesforce, Ycharts, and Orion is a plus
