<strong>Description<br><br></strong>re you passionate about creating, implementing, and driving the strategy to develop the workforce of the future? Do you want manage programs focused on improving the internal and external talent slate for an essential Amazon support team? The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Strategic Workforce Development Team uses data, research and internal and external partnerships to craft workforce development solutions focused on building robust talent pipelines to meet RME’s current, emerging, and future needs.<br><br>As a Strategic Workforce Development (SWD) Program Manager you will proactively identify mechanisms, process improvements, programs and partnerships which will improve Amazon RME operations and the employment outcomes for current and future Amazonians.<br><br>The SWD Program Manager will lead programs supporting Amazonians globally. This includes identifying key initiatives, developing project roadmaps, engaging vendors, internal and external partners, developing proposals, identifying and scoping data and metric requirements, and managing key stakeholder communications. This role will work directly with multiple internal businesses, technology, finance, operations, vendors, and partner teams.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br>Identifying, developing, executing, and managing project plans<br><br>Influencing key stakeholders throughout the evolution of a project or program<br><br>Stakeholder management and communication<br><br>Documenting and communicating results to senior leaders<br><br>Interpreting data for a non-technical audience<br><br>Develop strong relationships and have the ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders/partners across diverse roles and levels.<br><br>Partner with multiple stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements for execution<br><br>A day in the life<br><br>A Day in the Life of a SWD Program Manager<br><br>While you will always strive towards one goal - delighting customers - no two days will be the same. Due to the scope and impact of this role, you will continuously find new problems to solve and be required to partner with teams across the globe to deliver innovative workforce development programs within the project timeline and budget.<br><br><strong>About The Team<br><br></strong>The Reliability & Engineering Maintenance (RME) Strategic Workforce Development Team attracts, educates, and develops our workforce. We leverage science and technology as the cornerstone to support and maintain a global infrastructure. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
