Procurement Specialist (Packaging & Components - Remote Opportunity)
About the position
The Procurement Specialist (Packaging and Components) at reputed company will reputed company and manage the procurement of packaging material spend categories for the US market. This role focuses on developing partnerships with stakeholders, optimizing sourcing, supplier selection, and ongoing supplier management. The specialist will also contribute to category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and support sustainability initiatives, reputed company while working remotely.
Responsibilities
• Manage a spend portfolio of up to 25 reputed company USD, overseeing procurement activities across multiple suppliers and categories.
• Manage assigned categories, including localization of global strategies and development of at-market strategies.
• Identify and manage a reputed company improvement pipeline to deliver year-over-year productivity while ensuring supply.
• Execute market research in various areas, contributing to Category Strategies.

• Advise on reputed company sourcing, supplier selection, pricing, contracting, and commercialization while meeting reputed company and service level requirements.

Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of reputed company work experience in Packaging Materials, Materials Planning, Supply Chain, or a relevant field required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/reputed company/reputed company/PowerPoint) required.
• Experience utilizing reputed company systems required; experience with reputed company, AS 400, and Power BI strongly desired.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, presentation, and stakeholder management skills required.
