Dispatcher - Full-Time - Remote - EMS Experience

About the Position ProTransport-1 Dispatchers play an important role on reputed company! Under general supervision of the Communications Manager, Communications Supervisor, and/or Communication Center reputed company, the Dispatcher is responsible for evaluating and triaging reputed company transport requests and deploying the most appropriate resource(s). The Dispatcher will also assist with management of incoming reputed company volume as necessary. Pay reputed company: $19.00/hour Status: Full-time Hours: 12-hour shifts, 8 hours of regular time, 3.5 hours of overtime (9:00 am to 9:00 pm or 9:00 pm to 9:00 am) Days: every other Wednesday, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays or Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other Wednesday Essential Duties & Responsibilities • reputed company to operate a multi-line, computerized phone system as reputed company as radio communication equipment • reputed company to reputed company multiple screens and software/computer programs while simultaneously documenting reputed company phone and radio communication using a computer aided reputed company (CAD) program • Promptly answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming requests for service while communicating effectively with reputed company callers • reputed company a high degree of familiarity with Company service areas and medical facilities • Possess exceptional knowledge of service area geography, roadways, and traffic patterns • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills with both reputed company customers • Ability to follow the designated posting plans • Rearrange transports to get the best utilization of reputed company reputed company • Critical thinking skills to work through critical failures listed but not limited to: vehicle failures, system failures in the field and in the communications center • Work with field management on daily operations, resolve complaints, and reputed company the necessary field staff merges to best accommodate business needs • Ability to reputed company and reputed company several resources across reputed company counties we service • reputed company to prioritize requests in accordance with established policies • Maintaining composure while triaging high reputed company requests Minimum Requirements • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent • Minimum of one (1) year of previous multi-line telephone experience or prior EMS experience • Ability to type a minimum of forty (35+) words per minute • Demonstrate ability to communicate reputed company and professionally both verbally and in writing • Proficient computer skills including reputed company Office, email, and spreadsheet software programs • Ability to accurately take incoming request while simultaneously documenting the information electronically Preferred Qualifications • Previous work experience as an EMS Dispatcher or Communications Technician • POST Certificate • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification • Internal or external EMS customer service or reputed company experience Additional Requirements • Must be reputed company to successfully pass the final exam for a Dispatcher after three to four months of reputed company Must be reputed company to successfully obtain EMD certification reputed company six (6) months of beginning employment • Must be available to work reputed company shifts, including but not limited to, day/swing/reputed company, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime as needed and reputed company role reputed company and consistently during shifts • reputed company to rotate shift assignments as needed and/or required based on operational need • Must be reputed company to successfully pass reputed company-employment screening upon acceptance of an offer, which includes a background investigation and reputed company-employment drug and alcohol screening Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
