This role will focus on dashboard development, data validation, and collaboration with stakeholders in a fast-moving consulting environment.</p><p><br></p><p>We are open to two types of candidates:</p><p><b>Tableau and Power BI Developer:</b> Strong in both Tableau and Power BI and able to create dashboards proficiently in both tools. </p><p><b>Power BI-first Developer: </b>Strong in building Power BI dashboards and some exposure to Tableau.</p><p><br></p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>What you'll do</b><ul><li>Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards in Tableau and/or Power BI</li><li>Support and modify existing dashboards, including working with underlying SQL and calculations</li><li>Translate business requirements and wireframes into effective visualizations</li><li>Develop and optimize DAX measures (Power BI)</li><li>Use SQL for data validation, profiling, and troubleshooting</li><li>Own work from requirements through development and quality checks</li><li>Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to iterate on reporting solutions</li></ul><p><br></p><b>What we're looking for</b><ul><li>Degree-qualified in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience</li><li>Hands-on experience with Tableau and Power BI, and ideally able to build in both environments </li><li>Strong SQL skills</li><li>Experience supporting existing BI environments, not just greenfield builds</li><li>Ability to organize and clarify business requirements</li><li>Comfortable working independently in a project-based consulting role</li><li>Clear communication and stakeholder-facing skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p></p> <div>$60 - $65 an hour</div><small><div>This is an independent contractor position, the rate will vary based on experience.
