[Remote] Outsourced CFO

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TGG, A DLA Company, is seeking an experienced CFO to serve as a trusted, long-term advisor to business owners. This client-facing role involves building relationships and providing strategic financial leadership to help small and mid-size businesses grow and plan for the future. Responsibilities • Acting as a long-term strategic partner to business owners, supporting growth, profitability, and enterprise value • Providing high-level financial strategy aligned with client goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning • Leading and supporting M&A activity, capital raises, due diligence, and exit planning • Overseeing balance sheet strategy, cash flow management, and financial performance tracking • Partnering closely with Managing Directors and Controllers to ensure high-quality client delivery • Supporting client retention, revenue expansion, and overall engagement success • Communicating clearly and confidently with executive teams, boards, lenders, and external advisors Skills • Significant experience in CFO-level advisory, consulting, or senior finance leadership • A strong background in accounting and financial strategy (outsourced or advisory experience strongly preferred) • Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and serve as a strategic thought partner • Experience with M&A, capital raising, banking relationships, and complex financial decision-making • Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with business owners • CPA or similar credential preferred Benefits • Competitive compensation, benefits, and flexibility Company Overview • The true performance of your business shouldn’t be a mystery.
