The Role: Contract Loan Processor You’ll do this: • Serve as the operational backbone of the loan—from loan registration t to Funding. • Manage a full pipeline with discipline, urgency, and precision • Review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to submission • Act as the primary point of contact between brokers, borrowers, lenders, and third parties • Proactively collect, analyze, and organize borrower documentation • Prepare and submit clean, lender-ready files to underwriting • Anticipate conditions and solve problems before they become delays • Communicate clearly and confidently with borrowers to keep loans moving forward • Track conditions, follow up relentlessly, and drive files to on-time closings • Maintain audit-ready files that meet investor and regulatory standards • Protect the broker relationship by delivering a White Glove processing experience • Take ownership of your pipeline and execute without hand-holding You’ll succeed if you: • Have mortgage processing experience in the wholesale channel. • Have a strong understanding of guidelines. • Excited to learn a new skill - get great at doing videos and borrower communication. • Are detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure. • Communicate like a pro and believe in doing what’s right. Requirements • Deliver world-class client experience consistently throughout the client process • Use company approved software. • Use Zoom with Camera on because pictures are a thousand words, but video is a thousand pictures • Follow up on file needs with urgency and proactively drive the loan to closing rather than waiting on the COE. • Must have an active NMLS license. • Must have a minimum of 2-year processing experience. • Cannot have originated loans in the last 12 months. • Will not be able to process or originate loans with anyone else while contracted with The Brokers Processor. No exceptions.
