Freelance Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager (Remote)

RR Finance and Operations LLC is seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to support our growing client base, primarily nonprofits. This is a remote, part-time freelance role with the potential for consistent, ongoing work. Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities for nonprofit clients • Review and manage monthly close and financial reports • Ensure accuracy of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statements • Support client communication and provide accounting guidance • Collaborate with internal team and leadership Requirements • 5+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience strongly preferred) • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP • Experience managing or reviewing work of other accountants • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Availability Requirement (Important) • Candidates must be available during U.S. business hours (Monday–Friday) • This role is not suitable for someone who already has a full-time job • Availability during the day is required for meetings, collaboration, and client support Hours & Compensation • 25–35 hours per week, with flexibility based on workload • Additional hours may be available as needed • Hourly rate: $25–$35, based on experience Location • Remote • U.S.-based candidates preferred Job Type: Part-time Pay: $60,289.79 - $72,607.05 per year Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
