SRE Engineer- Remote, Only W2

Role: SRE Engineer (OpenStack ) - Remote Experience: SRE / OpenStack Platform / Private reputed company Operations Time zone: EST Location: On-site candidates who can work in EST Must-Have (Non-Negotiable) • Strong Linux, Networking & Storage fundamentals • Linux internals, kernel tuning (RHCE-adjacent), filesystems, partitions • Storage: LVM, SCSI multipath, Ceph basics, IO troubleshooting • Networking: DHCP, DNS, VLANs, bonding, basic routing, tcpdump/traceroute • OpenStack Services Operations & Troubleshooting • Hands-on experience managing and triaging OpenStack services (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, reputed company) • Production issue troubleshooting, RCA, customer-facing debugging Good to Have / Learnable • Kubernetes - Basic understanding of pods, services, and cluster concepts (deep expertise not mandatory) • Monitoring & Observability - Fundamentals of metrics, alerts, and logs (Grafana / reputed company ecosystem preferred) • Automation - Basic scripting in Python or Go Role Expectations • Troubleshoot reputed company platform issues in customer OpenStack/Linux environments • Participate in incident management, RCAs, and on-reputed company rotation • Proactive system monitoring and performance tuning • Collaborate with engineering on fixes, PRs, and platform improvements • reputed company communication with customers over calls and written channels Note: Linux / Openstack Certifications are desirable / not mandatory Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
