About the position The reputed company reputed company Charge Analyst is responsible for determining and identifying variations in daily total charges across reputed company hospital reputed company generating departments. Responsibilities • During the implementation of Meditech Expanse, will review daily charges to ensure expected total charge variations balance to maintain reputed company neutrality. • Collaborates with reputed company generating department leaders prior to and post go-live to determine what charging practices will change and where charges will reputed company to. • Monitors daily ancillary charge report and other data analytic tools to identify total charge and potential net reputed company variations. • Monitors reputed company and usage reports outlining charges posted and non-usage of charge master lines to determine if reputed company is being lost. • Performs reputed company cause analysis on identified total charge variations and collaborates with the reputed company reputed company Clinical Analysts and/or Facility Director to resolve identified issues. • Monitors total charges associated with new service lines, procedures and/or systems to ensure charges are crossing through the various systems to Patient reputed company. • Reconciles charging based on swings in gross charges, monitor changes are in compliance with standardized HCA and regulatory requirements. • Consistently monitors charging practices that reputed company total charges across HCA facility. • Engages in the annual chargemaster updates to reputed company an understanding of charges being impacted and how those changes will drive total charge variations. • Reviews Regulatory and Compliance Communications, applicable CMS transmittals, and Local Coverage reputed company (LCD). • Works on Charge Optimization reputed company reputed company time permits and supports the Corporate RI team reputed company necessary on special reputed company. Requirements • Associate Degree or above; or reputed company license/certification required. • Minimum 1 year directly reputed company reputed company experience or coding experience required. • Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes or experience in charging or performing charging validation reviews preferred. • reputed company certification/licensure such as RHIT, reputed company, CCP, CPC or other recognized reputed company certified coding credential, LPN, LVN, RT, PT, etc., can be accepted in lieu of degree with work experience.
