Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for researching, creating, and executing personalized travel itineraries for your clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their individual needs and preferences, ensuring that every trip is tailored to their unique requirements. From booking flights and hotels to arranging car rentals, cruises, and tours, you will be the primary point of contact for your clients, providing them with expert guidance and support every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, create, and execute customized travel itineraries for clients, taking into account their individual needs, preferences, and budgets
  • Communicate effectively with clients pre- and post-travel to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Book travel arrangements, including airlines, hotels, car rentals, cruises, tours, events, and more
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the travel and tourism industry, attending webinars and completing ongoing training to maintain and earn certifications
  • Handle client issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to become specialized in specific destinations and types of travel

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work independently in a home-based environment. A reliable internet connection and a computer or smartphone are required, and a background in hospitality, customer service, or sales is a plus, although not essential. Personal travel experience is also desirable, but not necessary.
